Abdul Rahman Is a prince in Africa before his capture by a rival tribe. These people then trade him for guns and weapons from the European men. This was common among tribes in Africa. The only thing The Europeans would trade for is people. Abdul Rahman was captured at the age of 26. This was the beginning of the end for Abdul
He Was sold to European slave traders for weapons and vireos other supply's. Abdul's trip across the Atlantic was on the slave ship Africa. He was transported all the way up to Naches Mississippi. Here he was then sold To foster. Am man who refused to sell him to a man willing to free Abdul.
Abdul Turned out to be a very valuable to foster. Because he was a prince he was fairly educated and knew how to work on a farm. This contributed to foster not selling him into freedom. He was able to read musslum wich showed how educated he was. H improved the farms functions and helped with other things that the slaves could not do because they weren't educated
After finally being freed He Immediately purchased his wife. They then campaigned in the northern states for money to purchase their nine children. They only got enough money to purchase two of them. HE then went back to Africa but didnt live long enough to his home.
